Save Brixton’s Historic Market Barrows

Brixton Market Traders Federation, the Heritage of London Trust and Lambeth Council have gotten together to restore Brixton Market’s traditional wooden market barrows, of which only 12 remain. Brixton has one of London’s most vibrant historic markets, dating from the 1870s.

To help raise the money for the restoration of these iconic barrows, a crowdfund has been started. For more information on the barrows’ history and how you can help, click here.
